Your CEO should hate your social media
Why? Well, think about it. There’s an 83% chance that your CEO is male, 71% chance they’re aged between 45-64. And, this may be a shot in the dark, but they’re probably named John. According to research, the biggest users of social media are people aged 20-29 and they’re often the target audience for various businesses.
Your CEO is not part of that audience and so the content you create to market your products and services shouldn’t appeal to him but rather to the average social media user. So it’s okay if your CEO doesn’t get the TikTok content you make for the business, he doesn’t have to! He’s good at other things and each employee has a role to play in the company.
Make content that your target audience likes and if your CEO hates it then good job! You aren’t marketing to the wrong people.
