General Manager
Gemma Browne
“Hi there, I’m Gemma. When I’m not neck-deep in project management tools and spreadsheets, you can find me watching the latest theatre show, indulging in a chardonnay and triple-cream brie with friends (or simply treating myself!), cuddling my dog Lola, cheering on my beloved Collingwood Magpies, or enjoying Australia’s coast and countryside with my husband in our camper trailer.
I look forward to meeting you and helping your business thrive on social media!”
Gemma has over 10 years social media marketing experience, working agency side with a diverse range of national and international brands including AC/DC, AFL Women’s, Bang & Olufsen, Spirit of Tasmania, Hard Yakka, Funtastic, Cricket Australia, Handee and Finish, plus managing and implementing the organic and paid social media and performance marketing strategies internally for The Australian Ballet and Orchestra Victoria.
With a robust technical background, holistic approach to digital marketing, and keen eye for detail, Gemma has been able to deliver effective and systemised digital solutions, that achieve broader business outcomes, including sell-out stadiums, product order backlog, and setting international brand benchmarks.
Her love of business infrastructure and ability to recognise operational and growth opportunities led to her transition into an operational manager, working with New Zealand’s leading social media agency to build and head up their SMB department. She now leads the Account Management team at Eight Clients, ensuring they have the resources and infrastructure they need to spend less time on the ‘how’, and more time on doing what they do best… creating scroll-stopping content for our clients!

Something weird about you
I am a tragic ABBA fan and even went to an ABBA tribute concert for my Hens Party.
What’s something you know a lot about
Apart from social media marketing… probably skincare.
Favourite dog breed
Border Terrier. While they may look small and scruffy, once they steal your heart, they’ll have it forever.
