If you’re on the hunt for a new social media agency, here are some helpful questions to help you choose the right agency to partner with.
Who will be working on my account?
Ever been sold into an agency only to find that the intern is the one doing all of the work on your account? This is fairly common within agencies so it’s a good idea to ask your next social media agency who will be working on your account. Social media needs creative content and you don’t want someone running your social accounts who doesn’t love your brand.
Can I take a look at the strategy first?
Strategy is everything in social media marketing so it may be a good idea to see if your next social media agency offers a standalone social media strategy service. Once you see the strategy, you’ll know right away if it’s going to be a good fit.
Can I see some reviews?
Great social media agencies will have lots of positive reviews from clients so you want to be sure to check them out. One quick way to check this is to view their google reviews.
What kind of results have you achieved in my industry?
Ask your next social media agency for some specific examples of their work in your industry. If they haven’t worked with your target audiences before, it might be best to continue your search.
Can you guarantee results on Facebook?
This may seem like a good thing for a social media agency to guarantee but if your agency is a Pro Facebook Marketing Partner they will never guarantee results as it’s against Facebook’s terms and conditions. Agencies should be able to give you a guide on results but beware of guarantees. PS – might be a good idea to ask if they are a Pro Facebook Marketing Partner too.
